Soul Mission, located out of Owasso, OK is a non-profit ministry created to provide funding for youth and young adults to go on short term Christian missions trips around the globe. Soul Mission was created in 2010 after seeing an overwhelming need for support of America’s young people to spread God’s word and change, not only, the lives of people they are witnessing to but their own lives as well.
Soul Mission’s mission as a ministry is to use our God given talent and abilities to secure and distribute financial resources to people, churches, and organizations for the Soul Mission of spreading God’s word to all nations.
Soul Mission partners with businesses as a source of funding. Soul Mission is presented as a challenge for the businesses to trust God with their finances by giving into furthering his Kingdom. God wants us blessed and His Gospel preached. Soul Mission is using this strategy to help both come to pass. Once we have secured finances, we partner with qualified mission’s organizations to be a financial resource, through scholarships, to the people attending mission’s trips to countries all around the globe. With funding the spreading of God’s word, people all over the world will be given a chance to change their lives and come into a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Every aspect of Soul Mission is based off scripture from the Word of God. The foundation of Soul Mission is based on the following scriptures and passages:
“14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!“ - Romans 10:14-15
“6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.“ - 2 Corinthians 9:6-9
What we believe
- We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write words of Scripture.
- We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
- We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ.
